This is just a silly book that I think would be the perfect type of book that would be good to read to students after they come back from recess or lunch time。 This book has many colors。 Another thing that I like about this book is that because it is a simple and easy read students can easily catch onto the pattern and interact with the book as well which is another reason why I think it is a good book to share after recess when the students still need to get their wiggles and energy out。

This wouldn’t be my first choice for even a young audience。 There isn’t much of a plot, outside of dragons liking tacos。 I just didn’t see much educational value or even that much humor for just a fun read。

Funny as heck。

Not one of my favorites。 You just get this feeling the author is trying to be funny or cheeky but it's just about how dragons love tacos。 The drawings are awesome though, and don't get me wrong, it is silly but not fun enough to make me enjoy it when my daughters ask me to read it again and again and again and again。。。 Not one of my favorites。 You just get this feeling the author is trying to be funny or cheeky but it's just about how dragons love tacos。 The drawings are awesome though, and don't get me wrong, it is silly but not fun enough to make me enjoy it when my daughters ask me to read it again and again and again and again。。。 。。。more

This was a cute book full of illustrations that catch the readers attention。 It leads the reader to learn that dragons love tacos, but they only like certain tacos。 They love attending parties because tacos are served。 They LOVE attending taco parties!

This was another modern classic that I'd somehow never read before, so I checked it out from the library to read it with the girls。 I enjoyed it and thought it was cute。 I'm familiar with this author/illustrator duo from Those Darn Squirrels which I use for work and have read repeatedly and also think is a fun story。 This one didn't quite live up to its hype for me。 I expected a bit more of a climax, I guess。 Still, I'm glad we finally read it。 The only problem is that it instantly makes me crav This was another modern classic that I'd somehow never read before, so I checked it out from the library to read it with the girls。 I enjoyed it and thought it was cute。 I'm familiar with this author/illustrator duo from Those Darn Squirrels which I use for work and have read repeatedly and also think is a fun story。 This one didn't quite live up to its hype for me。 I expected a bit more of a climax, I guess。 Still, I'm glad we finally read it。 The only problem is that it instantly makes me crave tacos。 Even writing about it now I'm once again craving tacos。 And not good tacos, either。 Like, Taco Bell tacos with the crunchy shell (and mild taco sauce, like the dragons)。 。。。more

Dragons love tacos but they also love parties。 The narrator of the books follows a boy who is going to throw a taco party for the dragons。 It is very important that there is nothing spicy so the boy buries the spicy salsa in the backyard。 everything is going great until the boy sees a can of salsa on the table before he knows it the dragons are all breathing fire and they accidently burn the boys house down。 The dragons helped rebuilt the house, partly because they felt bad but also for the taco Dragons love tacos but they also love parties。 The narrator of the books follows a boy who is going to throw a taco party for the dragons。 It is very important that there is nothing spicy so the boy buries the spicy salsa in the backyard。 everything is going great until the boy sees a can of salsa on the table before he knows it the dragons are all breathing fire and they accidently burn the boys house down。 The dragons helped rebuilt the house, partly because they felt bad but also for the taco breaks。 This is a very entertaining book with lots of things that keep your attention。 I liked how this book was told by a narrator and not from one of the characters points of view。 Additionally, the illustrations were very creative and did a great job of helping tell the story。 I gave this book five stars because I thought it was very funny。 There where lots of things happening that made it very entertaining。 Just when I thought things were going to slow down something dramatic would happen。 。。。more

Dragons love tacos but hate salsa。 Any spicy salsa dragons hate because it makes their ears shootout smoke。 Dragons also love parties。 The boy hosts a taco party and doesn't read the fine print。。。 The book is literally just a silly book about tacos and dragons。 Might help developing readers that like dragons or tacos。 The illustrations in the book are wonderful and a unique style。 Dragons love tacos but hate salsa。 Any spicy salsa dragons hate because it makes their ears shootout smoke。 Dragons also love parties。 The boy hosts a taco party and doesn't read the fine print。。。 The book is literally just a silly book about tacos and dragons。 Might help developing readers that like dragons or tacos。 The illustrations in the book are wonderful and a unique style。 。。。more

I loved this book and how it questions the reader why do dragons love tacos? The illustrations are perfect and brings a sense of humor out of the reader。 This was a great book and would be a lot of fun for a read along in class。 Definitely recommend this book for the class!

This very cute and entertaining book was fun to read。 Even as an adult I enjoyed reading about dragons who love to eat tacos, because let's be honest, who does not like a good taco? But!! The dragons are not a big fan of spicy food and the little boy soon finds out what happens when they eat spicy food。 I would read this to a kindergarten-2nd grade classroom。 This very cute and entertaining book was fun to read。 Even as an adult I enjoyed reading about dragons who love to eat tacos, because let's be honest, who does not like a good taco? I gave this book 5/5 stars because this book was just very enjoyable。 There is really no moral to this story, but I can see the purpose of this book being that it entices children to become excited about reading。 This book was pure enjoyment that focused on two really cool aspects: dragons and tacos。 From the viewpoint of a small child, this book could be the stem of imaginary creativity, because after he or she reads it, not only will they imagine a taco party with dragons, but will imagine a t I gave this book 5/5 stars because this book was just very enjoyable。 There is really no moral to this story, but I can see the purpose of this book being that it entices children to become excited about reading。 This book was pure enjoyment that focused on two really cool aspects: dragons and tacos。 From the viewpoint of a small child, this book could be the stem of imaginary creativity, because after he or she reads it, not only will they imagine a taco party with dragons, but will imagine a tea party with fairies, or even a baseball game with sharks and seahorses。 。。。more

I read Dragons Love Tacos to the two little boys I nanny and they were crazy about it, they loved it so much and I have to say I did also。 I love the story but what I loved most was the illustrations, i love how quirky and unique each different dragon was。 The boys found the they book hilarious, and we have since read it multiple times。

Dragons Love Tacos is such a creative book by Adam Rubin。 It is quite a random plot line, but it is very interesting for children and the illustrations are eye-catching! This book lets out some laughs as the Dragons mistake a mild salsa with a hot salsa, which creates such a disaster。 Your children will definitely fall in love with this book。

This book, "Dragons Love Tacos" is a very cute book for young children and is an easy read。 This book is about how dragons love tacos, as well as parties, so taco parties are their favorite。 But, they cannot have anything spicy in their tacos or else it ends badly。 This story is cute, and ends up with kindness and teamwork to fix the problems that occur at the end of the story。 The illustrations of the book are very exciting and entertaining as well。 This book, "Dragons Love Tacos" is a very cute book for young children and is an easy read。 This book is about how dragons love tacos, as well as parties, so taco parties are their favorite。 But, they cannot have anything spicy in their tacos or else it ends badly。 This story is cute, and ends up with kindness and teamwork to fix the problems that occur at the end of the story。 The illustrations of the book are very exciting and entertaining as well。 。。。more

The book had me at the title, though I wasn't as amused with the story itself。 When I just read the title and skimmed through the pages I was intrigued, i'm a girl who loves tacos and was excited to see why dragons did too。 When reading through I just wasn't satisfied with the flow of it。 Don't get me wrong it was cute and I see myself having this in a classroom library but I do not see myself choosing it as a read aloud。 The book had me at the title, though I wasn't as amused with the story itself。 When I just read the title and skimmed through the pages I was intrigued, i'm a girl who loves tacos and was excited to see why dragons did too。 When reading through I just wasn't satisfied with the flow of it。 Don't get me wrong it was cute and I see myself having this in a classroom library but I do not see myself choosing it as a read aloud。 。。。more

This is a cute little post-modern story where the narrator talks directly to a little boy, who is hoping to hold a taco party for dragons。 Why dragons? Well, because dragons love boatloads and pantloads tacos of course! Just don't give them any salsa, and the story will come to a happy conclusion。 This is a cute little post-modern story where the narrator talks directly to a little boy, who is hoping to hold a taco party for dragons。 Why dragons? This book was a fun one, and reminded me of "If you give a mouse a cookie"。 These types of cause and effect books are not my favorite, but would be good to read to a class who could be learning about cause and effect。 I think students would enjoy this one either way。 This book was a fun one, and reminded me of "If you give a mouse a cookie"。 These types of cause and effect books are not my favorite, but would be good to read to a class who could be learning about cause and effect。 I think students would enjoy this one either way。 。。。more
